As cities it is important to reach the public and to empower citizens. Especially young people as a vulnerable group need specific projects to support them. EIGE’s research shows the many ways digital technologies are benefiting young people in access to learning, friendship, information and actions for social change. It also shows that aggressive behaviour online is anticipated and normalised. As cities we can provide opportunities, workshops and projects to ensure that young women and men can live their lives without stereotypes and strive for equality.
